Pension payslips
Your monthly payslips are available to view and download on the member portal. Your April payslip will show any annual pension increase that is applied for the year ahead.
Pension increases
We apply any annual increases to pensioner payments on 1 April each year. The increase you get will depend on the BTPS section you’re a member of and the pension option you chose at retirement. The increases are linked to either the Consumer Prices Index or Retail Prices Index which are government indexes capturing rises or falls in the cost of living. If you chose a pension increase exchange option at retirement, then any percentage annual increase will only apply to part of your pension. Your Payslip Guide above explains how pension increases are applied.
